Tada! Yarn along

Hoera, na wat  uren flink doorbreien is het SP een FO geworden! De sjaal die ik voor mijn zus breide is klaar. Geblockt en de pomponnen (Thanks, Greet!) eraan genaaid. Het is dit model geworden. De Noro is na een wasbeurtje met een beetje wolwasmiddel heerlijk zacht geworden.
Hurray, after some firm knitting the SP became a FO! This scarf I knitted for my sister, as a present for her 50th birthday (Sorry  I'm late and had to make you a gift certificate..) It's this model. The Noro is real soft and lushious after a short bath in some Woolite.
Mijn zus wilde eigenlijk ook wel vingerloze wanten. Zó handig als je steeds iets moet pakken (OVkaart, sleutels, mobiel) en toch warme handen wilt hebben. En omdat ik het rot vond dat ik de sjaal niet op tijd af had... breide ik dus wanten voor haar. Zonder bovenkantje.
My sister also wanted some fingerless mittens. Great things if you want to use your fingers for bustickets,
keys, mobile and want the rest of your hand to be warm. And because I felt bad not to have the scarf finished with her birthday... I knitted her these mittens. Without a top.
Ik zie haar met kerst, en heb hier een geweldige manier gevonden om het haar cadeau te geven. De schoolbordstickers zijn al in huis!
We'll see eachother with  Christmas, and  I found a lovely way to giftwrap the scarf here. The chalk board stickers are here already!
Ik lees te weinig nu. Druk op school in deze periode. Dus heb ik vandaag een audioboek gedownload van een favoriete schrijfster, kan ik heerlijk luisteren en breien tegelijk!
I'm reading too little these days. Very busy at school in this period. So today I downloaded an audiobook from an all time favorite writer. Looking forward to knit and listen at the same time!
